Sisters Habitat for
Humanity opened the Thrift Store in 1993, in order to raise funds for the
building program and provide low cost goods for families in the area.
In order to increase
the retail space of the Thrift Store, and thus increase funds for the Habitat
building program, Sisters Habitat constructed the new Habitat Thrift Store.
The building of the Thrift Store was completed in the Spring of 1997.
The Sisters Habitat Thrift
Store always welcomes new and old volunteers to take part. Call the Thrift
Store at (541) 549-1740 to offer your support or to find out more about
how you can fit into the picture.
The Thrift Store,
more like a boutique, is located
at 141 West Main Street. Hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Saturday
and 12:00pm to 4:00pm Sunday.
Useable
donations are accepted for the Thrift Store Monday through Saturday,
10:00am to 1:00pm.
Feel free to phone the
office for more information: (541) 549-1193
